Well We’re Movin’ On Up by Parker J. Cole

Who can forget the iconic theme song from the 70’s show, The Jeffersons? The song is so ingrained in American pop culture the younger generations who haven’t even seen the very popular sitcom grasp the concept of it.

The chorus section says,

“Well we’re movin on up,

To the east side.

To a deluxe apartment in the sky.

Movin on up

To the east side.

We finally got a piece of the pie.”

There wasn’t a better song I could think to announce the creation of my online broadcasting network, PJC Media.

PJC Media

PJC Media will be focused on wholesome and thought-provoking content under a Christian framework. I remember when I first started my show Write Stuff, I told the Lord that this show belonged to Him. Much more then would this network belong to Him as well. He gave me the talents—I intend to use them for His glory.

The Lord takes you places you’d never thought you would go. Surrendering to His will is teaching me to trust Him. What’s so very interesting is that had anyone asked me four years ago if I would ever do something like this, I’d laugh. “Of course not! I don’t know anything about that.” Since childhood, all I’d ever wanted was to be a writer. That dream has come to fruition but the Lord is taking it in a new direction.

I’ve no idea how far this network will go. I have a plan but I’m wholly dependent on the Lord. After all, when Job got a little too big for his britches, didn’t the Lord say, in Job 38: 2-6:

“Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?

Dress for action[a] like a man;

I will question you, and you make it known to me.

“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?

Tell me, if you have understanding.

Who determined its measurements—surely you know!

Or who stretched the line upon it?

On what were its bases sunk,

or who laid its cornerstone,”

Surely the God who created EVERYTHING, who knows EVERYTHING, who holds control over EVERYTHING can direct my path. Some days it’s easy to trust in that than others. Thankfully, God doesn’t throw up his hands and walk away when we doubt.

Is this the deluxe apartment? Not sure but whatever it is, I know we’re moving on up. If you’d like to be part of what I’m doing, feel free to email me at parker at parkerjcole dot com. Or, join the PJC Media Facebook group to stay up to date with shows, news, and meet some great people who are getting on board. Our first show to air under the PJC Media brand will be “Dovetales with Deborah” debuting April 3rd.

Dovetales

Most of all, I covet your prayers so when you think about it, pray for the network that in grows in the grace of God’s mighty hand.
