TAKEOFF,
Special Counsel Jack Smith Resigns,
Special counsel Jack Smith resigned from the Justice Department on Friday after submitting a final report on President-elect Donald Trump to Attorney Gen. Merrick Garland.
The two-volume report examines Smith’s allegations that Trump sought to undermine the 2020 election results and held back classified documents after he left the White House, despite neither case ever going to trial.
The Trump camp is seeking to block the Justice Department from making the report public in the final days of Joe Biden’s presidency.
Trump’s Nominees Set for Hearings This Week,
Senate confirmation hearings kick off this week for many of President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet picks.
Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth will be one of the first, with his hearing set for tomorrow morning. Hegseth will face scrutiny over allegations about his personal life but continues to have Trump’s support.
Senate Republicans are cautioning the nominees not to take the bait when questioned by Democrats, suggesting that composure will ensure Republican votes, which are all that’s needed for confirmation.
Judge Blocks $750 Million Bitcoin Dig,
A British judge last week ended one man’s 12-year legal battle to recover a hard drive he claims holds 8,000 bitcoins, valued at nearly $750 million, buried in a Newport, Wales landfill.
James Howells, 39, offered to fund the excavation and share 25% of the proceeds with Newport City Council; however, the court ruled against him, citing environmental risks and the council’s ownership of landfill contents.
Howells says his ex-girlfriend mistakenly discarded the hard drive in 2013. It’s now buried under 10,000 to 15,000 tons of waste, part of a landfill containing 350,000 tons overall.
Howells expressed frustration, saying the decision denied him a chance to present his case and left him with “nothing.”
POLITICS,
Vice President-elect J.D. Vance said the Trump administration wouldn’t withhold federal aid for California’s wildfire victims, dismissing critics’ concerns.
Congressional Republicans, led by Sen. Ted Cruz, are proposing a constitutional amendment to impose term limits for U.S. Congress, limiting senators to two six-year terms and House members to three two-year terms.
The U.S. Supreme Court is set to rule this week on whether to uphold a Texas law that puts age restrictions on access to adult websites.

And Now, A word From one of Our Sponsors,
Promote your book/ebook on twitter and anything digital. For example, Christian Apps. I can hear all the naysayers say that twitter is a cesspool and you can’t sell anything on twitter. I have been on twitter since August 2012. I am an author and I can tell you this is false. I have sold many, many books that I can track back to twitter. I have 14 thousand 190+ followers on twitter and it all depends on who you follow. My followers are about half political and half writers, authors and readers. Now there are some writers, and especially christian writers say that they don’t feel right selling their books. You mean to tell me that God led you to write the book and all that goes into it and not mean for you to not tell people about it? I just don’t buy it.
I will send your messages either manually or scheduled. Will gain followers daily which could turn into customers. I will boost your traffic and business. I will do my research in order to understand your niche and I will make sure I can help you boost your business.
For more information or to schedule one of these plans send email to Russell Sherrard at russellsherrard@reagan.com

Long Ago, when the Roman Empire was at the height of its glory, a common saying was “All Roads Lead to Rome.” I want to tell you about a very special road — a road that existed then and still exists now. This road, now almost 2,000 years old, has never led to Rome. Yet, strangely enough, it is called the Romans Road.
This takes the reader to selected passages in the Book of Romans in the Bible to explain the plan of Salvation. This is the ideal way to share the gospel using your Kindle. The reader can also read the entire book of Romans un-interrupted.
