TAKEOFF,
‘Siberian Express’ to Bring Record Cold to U.S.,
A brutal blast of cold air, dubbed the Siberian Express, is set to sweep across the United States starting Thursday night in the Rockies, affecting up to 280 million Americans with temperatures colder than Anchorage, Alaska.
The frigid air will make President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration in Washington on Monday the coldest since Ronald Reagan’s second swearing-in, with temperatures around 22 degrees and wind chills in the single digits.
The Arctic outbreak, caused by a disruption in the polar vortex, will reach its peak intensity Tuesday morning. Watch a report here.
About 80 million people are likely to experience subzero temperatures during this cold snap, which experts say could last through the end of January, with another possible polar vortex event returning in early February.
Netanyahu Delays Gaza Truce Vote Amid Crisis,
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu postponed the Israeli Cabinet vote on a Gaza ceasefire deal until today, citing a “last-minute crisis” with Hamas over unspecified parts of the agreement.
The delay comes as Netanyahu’s coalition partners mount fierce resistance, with National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir threatening to withdraw his party from the government if the deal is approved.
The proposed agreement would pause the 15-month war and see 33 of about 100 remaining hostages released over six weeks in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, though air strikes continued overnight.
Mr. Baseball Passes Away at 90,
Bob Uecker, the beloved Milwaukee Brewers broadcaster known as “Mr. Baseball” who turned a mediocre playing career into a Hall of Fame broadcasting tenure spanning 54 seasons, has died at 90.

Beyond the broadcast booth, Uecker gained national fame through his self-deprecating humor on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Miller Lite commercials, and roles in the Major League films and TV series Mr. Belvedere.
In his final radio broadcast on Oct. 3, 2024, Bob Uecker called the Milwaukee Brewers’ Wild Card Game 3 loss to the New York Mets when a 2-0 ninth-inning lead slipped away in what would be the legendary announcer’s last time behind the microphone.

Residents and businesses impacted by the Palisades Fire filed a lawsuit Monday against Los Angeles and the Department of Water and Power, alleging negligence and demanding damages.
Attorneys for former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani announced a tentative agreement in his $146 million defamation lawsuit, allowing him to retain key assets, including his apartments and World Series rings.

And Now, A word From one of Our Sponsors,
Promote your book/ebook on twitter and anything digital. For example, Christian Apps. I can hear all the naysayers say that twitter is a cesspool and you can’t sell anything on twitter. I have been on twitter since August 2012. I am an author and I can tell you this is false. I have sold many, many books that I can track back to twitter. I have 14 thousand 190+ followers on twitter and it all depends on who you follow. My followers are about half political and half writers, authors and readers. Now there are some writers, and especially christian writers say that they don’t feel right selling their books. You mean to tell me that God led you to write the book and all that goes into it and not mean for you to not tell people about it? I just don’t buy it.
I will send your messages either manually or scheduled. Will gain followers daily which could turn into customers. I will boost your traffic and business. I will do my research in order to understand your niche and I will make sure I can help you boost your business.
For more information or to schedule one of these plans send email to Russell Sherrard at russellsherrard@reagan.com

Long Ago, when the Roman Empire was at the height of its glory, a common saying was “All Roads Lead to Rome.” I want to tell you about a very special road — a road that existed then and still exists now. This road, now almost 2,000 years old, has never led to Rome. Yet, strangely enough, it is called the Romans Road.
This takes the reader to selected passages in the Book of Romans in the Bible to explain the plan of Salvation. This is the ideal way to share the gospel using your Kindle. The reader can also read the entire book of Romans un-interrupted.
