Yesterday’s stormy weather had us all watching the news for imminent trouble. Funny isn’t it that we’re all up in trouble. But this morning the sun burst over the horizon and the sky is a beautiful clear blue. We’re not all up in that. We just take the good views and wonderful weather for granted.
Oh beloved, yesterday might have been hard for you. But today is beautiful and full of promise. Today is your day to break forth into joy! Your soul is enjoying the magnificent sunshine! Your spirit within you is breaking out into song over the wondrous blessing of this beautiful day. Even if the sun didn’t shine so brightly, your heart is full of God and you can shine His love everywhere you go. Don’t let the enemy talk you out of a good day. Don’t let him tell you to be careful because things might get worse or something might go wrong. Just praise and worship the Lord as you go, knowing that this day is ordained for your good and His Glory! In spite of what you may still be facing, the fact is that you aren’t facing anything alone. You aren’t bound for the doom and gloom, you are bound for the Promised Land. His Kingdom is willing to come to your heart and mind today, just as it is in heaven!
God loves you and He’s for you! He formed you in your mother’s womb, He ordained all the days of your life before you were born. Rejoice in His promises, rest in His blessings and remain joyful for the beautiful day simply because you are living in the Light of His Glory & Grace!
I Corinthians 2:12 Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God.
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ
Psalm 97:11 Light is sown like seed for the righteous And gladness for the upright in heart.
Rebekah Beene, Oh Beloved!
About the Author:
In a Christian Women’s meeting in 1983, Rebekah was given a prophetic message that she would write books. Several years ago she began writing stories about special holiday memories and travels, sharing God’s love and care through each story. God has gifted Rebekah with the ability to look at the natural and see the supernatural. Both Rebekah and her husband Danny have a heart to share the Gospel and the riches of life in Christ to everyone they meet. They have served in the local church and in ministry to motorcyclists. Danny is an ordained minister and they both have been Bible study teachers for many years. Rebekah also speaks at women’s retreats and conferences. Her tag line says it all “God loves you and He’s for you”.
