No Home For The Holidays BLURB:
Unlike the Prodigal Son, Chloe Sullivan knows she can’t go home for the Christmas holidays or ever—not if she wants to stay alive.
She’s resigned to the fact she must stay in hiding to keep herself and her family safe. Lonely and desperate for God’s presence, she’s drawn to a nearby church.
Ex-FBI agent turned preacher, Colton Douglas, mistakenly identifies Chloe as the person breaking into local churches. A midnight chase ensues that ends with him snapping her photo. When the photo goes public he learns more about the mystery woman than he bargained for. . .
And that changes everything!
TIS THE SEASON FOR MIRACLES!
Tis the season for miracles and a miracle is just what Chloe Sullivan needs in my latest release—NO Home For The Holidays.
Chloe is a classic case of the “prodigal daughter.” Chloe didn’t just rebel against her famous father, she became the poster child for the party life in Hollywood. After witnessing a crime, Chloe goes on the run but now wants nothing more than to go home—both literally and figuratively.
But Chloe believes some mistakes are too big to fix—ever!
Colton Douglas, ex-FBI agent turned preacher knows there’s no problem too big for God. When Colton and Chloe’s paths cross, he’s determined to get her home by Christmas. But someone else is just as determined that Chloe go away—permanently!
Both Colton and Chloe will learn some things about each other and themselves as they face the danger together.
NO Home For The Holidays is a mixture of suspense, romance, and Christmas! What could be better than that? There’s always so many possibilities for what the characters can learn as they journey through the story. And, of course, I love all the Christmas symbolism available during my favorite time of the year.
It can be challenge of finding a way to mix suspense into a Christmas story, but that’s one of the reasons I love writing these Christmas stories. This is my second
Christmas novella. The first was The Christmas Stalking which features a county music star being stalked, of course.
As a writer of Christian Fiction, I want the message of God’s love to be proclaimed throughout all the stories I write. Much the same way the angels proclaimed, good tidings of great joy more than two thousand years ago as they announced the birth of the Messiah.
To celebrate the release of No Home For The Holidays, Lillian is running a contest on her blog, Tiaras & Tennis Shoes. Five lucky winners will receive a $10 Amazon Gift card. So hop on over to www.lillian-duncan.com and leave a comment so you’ll be entered to win one of the gift cards.
