I always enjoy sharing about the nurse/angel who came into Danny’s hospital room early on in 2017 when he had just had a stroke . She had a word from the Lord. She walked in, the room lit up bright as Christmas and she took his vitals. Then, without even asking, she prayed over him from his head to his toes. And then she prophesied, “He will live and not die, he will walk again and He will preach the gospel. God is not finished with him yet.” I am still not sure that she wasn’t an angel. We never saw her before, we never saw her again and nobody in that hospital even knew he was a preacher.
There were times in the past two years that we’d be reminded of her words. Either because we were feeling down or because we were hopeful that the word she spoke over Danny would come true. Sometimes I would remind Danny what she said and we would both wonder. But this woman of faith was real and her words were true. Because yesterday Danny preached for the first time. And God did a supernatural work through him!
But listen y’all, God did more than that! He brought one of our daughters to hear her daddy preach and she sang the special! She has never sung a special in a church since she was a little girl. So when God performed the prophetic word he also gave us icing on the cake!
Oh beloved, what have you been waiting for? A sure word of prophesy is sure. And the sureness of it will manifest in God’s time. And that word, while you are waiting for it, will grow you, encourage you, lift you out of the pit and give you hope in God. Not only will God perform it, He will give you icing on the cake. Some of you have prayed for your children and they are now adults and you see no evidence. Keep praying. Some of you are asking for renewal and restoration and you haven’t seen it happen yet. Keep praying. Some of you are looking at a hardship and you wonder if this is all there is. No, beloved, there is more! And in the midst of it all, right when you aren’t even looking for it, God will command His angels, who have charge over you, to do what He wants concerning you, your spouse, your family, your children and more. Keep looking. Your job is not to make it happen. Your job is not to look at your circumstances. Your job is not to prove God wrong or prophets of God wrong. Your job is not to proclaim the bad news. Your job is to wait on the Lord. God will perform His job to the perfection of Himself. You can count on God.
God loves you and He’s for you. If He would send a nurse/angel from Nigeria all the way to America to pronounce the prophetic promise over my husband when he was flat in the bed without a voice, then He will do likewise or even more profound for you! Keep watching, tell God to increase your faith and He will help your unbelief. And live, beloved, in the Light of God’s plans for your life!

About the Author:
In a Christian Women’s meeting in 1983, Rebekah was given a prophetic message that she would write books. Several years ago she began writing stories about special holiday memories and travels, sharing God’s love and care through each story. God has gifted Rebekah with the ability to look at the natural and see the supernatural. Both Rebekah and her husband Danny have a heart to share the Gospel and the riches of life in Christ to everyone they meet. They have served in the local church and in ministry to motorcyclists. Danny is an ordained minister and they both have been Bible study teachers for many years. Rebekah also speaks at women’s retreats and conferences. Her tag line says it all “God loves you and He’s for you”.
