Thank you so much for having me on the GNF Blog! I would love to share with you a little about my new release, Dreams of Sweetwater River, Book 3 in the ‘Whispers in Wyoming’ series. This 45,000 word- range western, contemporary, Christian novel released yesterday. It is currently on sale for 99 cents for a limited time.
I love being a part of this series ! Cowboys are heroes, ladies are adventurous and beautiful, and faith and family are at the center of these stories… This book begins in the spring and quickly moves into summer. Most of the story takes place over the autumn season leading into winter, making this the perfect time of year to enjoy this particular story.
Here is the blurb for Dreams of Sweetwater River–:
On the outside, Jill Michaels seems to have it all together. She is a successful New York columnist and travel critic. When she isn’t writing the next book or column from her west side Manhattan office, she’s a single mother to three beautiful children. On the inside, her faith completely shattered when a routine mission in Afghanistan claimed the life of her husband.
When she decides to move back to Wyoming to be near family, the last thing she expects to find is a second chance at love when Logan Haven walks back into her life. Logan has been building his dream of transforming his father’s property into a dude ranch resort, The Sweetwater. He’s grown up, handsome, successful, and has it all together.
There’s just one problem. Logan is determined to be a preacher in the chapel he built on the ranch, but Jill hasn’t a shred of faith or hope left in his God. She isn’t remotely interested in religion, let alone becoming a preacher’s wife.
Logan lost Jill once before. Will he make the same mistake again? Will Jill find religion, or will she find relationship with God and restored love, purpose, and faith?

Here is one of the reviews:
5 Stars by Sandra…
I absolutely loved this book. I am a reader of Historical Western Romance and this is one of my first forays into Contemporary Western Romance. I cannot say enough about this book! It was my first read by Lisa Prysock. She has a fantastic grasp on romance! Jill and Logan’s story was so emotional for me. I loved how they reconnected and the ending of the book took my breath away. They had some hills to cross to get to their HEA…
Here are the titles of the first two books in this series: Love, Letters, & Home by Danni Roan and Heartstruck and Heavensent by Kari Trumbo. Each can be read as a stand-alone. Both have strong themes of faith, homecoming, and heritage.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving and enjoy ‘Whispers in Wyoming!’
Author Biography
Lisa M. Prysock lives in the countryside of beautiful, rolling Kentucky just outside of the greater Louisville area near horse farms and four board fences with her husband of 19 years. She homeschooled the two youngest of their five children and is excited about her youngest entering the journey of college life.
She and her husband live in an average Colonial style home they are continually updating– with a funny looking Heinz 57 dog; an adorably dainty lady cat; two teenagers; a vegetable garden; numerous flower beds; and a tree house undergoing a remodel. When not in teaching or writing mode, she is teaching herself to play the piano and violin. Regarding this she laughs: “It’s a pretty painful process, but I’m truly enjoying it!”
Lisa loves all things old-fashioned and has adopted a slogan of “The Old-Fashioned Everything Girl.” A few of her interests and passions include doll houses, long dresses and hats, gardening, reading the Classics, butterflies, swimming, walking, working out, cooking, sewing, crochet, cross stitching, arts and crafts, scrapbooking, decorating, and drawing.
Recently, her husband remodeled a room in their home with a picture window overlooking a valley containing a creek and wooded area, transforming the space into a serene writing office/sewing room. “It’s a great source of peace and inspiration for me… and pure joy not to be writing from the busy kitchen amidst the household chaos on a laptop. Growing teenagers eating every five minutes makes for a constant stream of happenings!”
Be sure to check out her new release Geneva, a fiction Christian Historical Romance series with a theme on the fruits of the Spirit! She is also the author of a devotional/Bible Study, Arise Princess Warrior and recently released The Shoemaker, an Old-Fashioned Regency Christmas Romance.
