Now that my hubby is back at work and full time to boot, I find myself looking at every transit vehicle I meet, hoping it’s him. I love catching glimpses of this love of my life. My heart soars when I get close. He laughingly says “You worship me.” Well, no, I worship Jesus but wow does he come close behind.
I wonder if our lives as women of God would change any if we looked at every situation hoping to meet Jesus in it. Do we get excited when we see glimpses of His love and care in our lives? Does our heart soar when we get close in prayer to Him? And can we say with our whole hearts “I worship You”?
Oh beloved, you are so very loved. Whether you look for Him or not – He is looking after you. Your life is so wrapped in the overwhelming, never ending love of the Lord. You aren’t even up this morning except that He woke you and has such beautiful plans for you. He is not some random man who makes you feel good about yourself. He is The Only Living God who has given Christ so that you can become more than you’ve ever dreamed. No loss in the gain of a Savior, for everything for life and godliness is your endowment in Christ.
He knows your problems and the grave things you face. He is whispering love words to you and asking you to come close to Him. There is your safety, your ransom, your provision and more. Within the sight of His holiness is your cause to worship Him and respond to His love with your own submission. In His arms is complete satisfaction – nothing the world ever offers will compare to Him. He put the stars in the sky by His breath and He formed you and fashioned you to live for Him, walk with Him and reign with Him. It’s time to lay down the burdens of your old life as well as the burdens of your hardships and rest totally in Him – His wisdom, power and love. You, beloved, are magnificently gifted with all you will ever need – In Him!
God loves you like no other ever will. And He is for you even if the whole world turns their back on you. This is no ordinary love – it’s extraordinary. This is no natural affection – it’s supernatural! Rejoice as you slip ever closer to the King and walk in the Light of your true identity in Christ!
Colossians 2:9-10 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.
I Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
I John 3:1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
About the Author:
In a Christian Women’s meeting in 1983, Rebekah was given a prophetic message that she would write books. Several years ago she began writing stories about special holiday memories and travels, sharing God’s love and care through each story. God has gifted Rebekah with the ability to look at the natural and see the supernatural. Both Rebekah and her husband Danny have a heart to share the Gospel and the riches of life in Christ to everyone they meet. They have served in the local church and in ministry to motorcyclists. Danny is an ordained minister and they both have been Bible study teachers for many years. Rebekah also speaks at women’s retreats and conferences. Her tag line says it all “God loves you and He’s for you”.
