22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. – Galatians 5:22-23
Lord, please give me Your love. Mine is too finite.
Lord, please give me Your joy. Mine is too contingent.
Lord, please give me Your peace. Mine is too volatile.
Lord, please give me Your patience. Mine keeps running out.
Lord, please give me Your kindness. Mine is too brash.
Lord, please give me Your goodness. My standards are too low.
Lord, please give me Your faithfulness. Mine is too fickle.
Lord, please give me Your gentleness. Mine is too arbitrary.
Lord, please give me Your self-control in place of all my abundant cravings, impulsive behaviors, and whims.
Let’s draw closer to the Lord so we can express His fruit to all those around us. May the God of grace supply all your needs according His riches in glory!
God bless you!
