We just celebrated my husband’s birthday on the 5th of September. And God has a message for us all. Seventy-five years ago last week, a woman in a small West Texas town birthed the child who would become a mighty man of God and my husband. Nobody knew his destiny at the time. Nobody could have planned it. But God had a plan. And today we are celebrating the blessings of His plan.
Oh beloved, you may not know God’s full plan for your life. But God does. You were known and planned for before the foundation of the world. God created you perfectly perfect for His plan. He made no mistakes with your beginning and He isn’t making mistakes now. He knows your imperfections of life, the ones you walked through and the ones you carry now. He knows your fears and your worries. He sees your tears – every single one of them. Mourning, grief, anxiety, loneliness, and more.
But He is calling you today to look at what He has done. He woke you up today and you are able. Able to read, to think, to know His presence. Jesus walked into eternity and took back all the keys of hell so that you can live free. He is worthy of your trust, your love and your obedience. Despite it all, you have been granted life and godliness through the resurrection and the life!
God loves you and He wants you to believe everything He says about you. Run to Him this morning and give Him your heart fresh and new. Release the things you can’t change and gather up the Truths He says about you. And live in His destiny for your life!
Proverbs 20:24 A person’s steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand their own way?
Psalm 139:16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.
Psalm 119:73 Your hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding to learn Your commandments.
I John 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
About the Author:
In a Christian Women’s meeting in 1983, Rebekah was given a prophetic message that she would write books. Several years ago she began writing stories about special holiday memories and travels, sharing God’s love and care through each story. God has gifted Rebekah with the ability to look at the natural and see the supernatural. Both Rebekah and her husband Danny have a heart to share the Gospel and the riches of life in Christ to everyone they meet. They have served in the local church and in ministry to motorcyclists. Danny is an ordained minister and they both have been Bible study teachers for many years. Rebekah also speaks at women’s retreats and conferences. Her tag line says it all “God loves you and He’s for you”.
