The other day we were driving down the interstate and a uhaul truck passed us. That’s not unusual but what we saw next we had never seen before. It was pulling a Tesla. I don’t know why but I thought that was just a little odd. An average uhaul carrying a very unusual, quite expensive car. I took a picture of it. This morning I notice the words on the back of the truck – “15’ Super Mover”.
Oh beloved, did you know? Have you heard? Because of Jesus, believers carry with them priceless cargo. Holy Spirit cannot be purchased but if it could none of us could afford Him. But because He is a gift even though we are average humans in the flesh, we become Super Movers!
God wants you to know this morning that in your own right you aren’t enough. You just aren’t. Neither am I. No one is enough. No one is worthy. No one has the credentials in the natural. But when covered by the Blood, bought with a price, and sealed and filled with Holy Spirit everything changes! You aren’t who you used to be. It’s important to know that people may still see you outwardly as who you were, but there is Dunamis power working within you. It doesn’t matter to God who you were, it’s about who you are in Christ, that He desires to teach you!
God also wants you to know that while you weren’t enough, He has made you more than enough. Enough to live for Christ. Enough to die to self. Enough to withstand outward pressures. Enough to hold your own in trials. Enough to leap over the walls of confinement this world has. Enough to hide God’s Word in your heart. Enough to make right decisions. Enough to say yes to every move God wants to make. Enough to be forgiven when you mess up. Enough to withstand the worst heartaches. Enough to change the atmosphere when you enter a room. All because your heart is changed and your mind is being renewed by the glory you carry within you!
God loves you and He’s for you. You’re not just an object of perfection or imperfection – whichever way you see yourself. It’s not about you. It’s about the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, and your Maker. Run to Him this morning and ask Him for more insight into your true worth, more wisdom to walk in His precepts and more fire to shake the ground you take back from the enemy. And live, beloved, as who God made you to be – a child full of the wisdom, power and love of God as you walk into this day!
1 Corinthians 1:18 The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.
I Corinthians 4:20 For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power.
Ephesians 3:20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
I Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
I John 4:4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world
About the Author:
In a Christian Women’s meeting in 1983, Rebekah was given a prophetic message that she would write books. Several years ago she began writing stories about special holiday memories and travels, sharing God’s love and care through each story. God has gifted Rebekah with the ability to look at the natural and see the supernatural. Both Rebekah and her husband Danny have a heart to share the Gospel and the riches of life in Christ to everyone they meet. They have served in the local church and in ministry to motorcyclists. Danny is an ordained minister and they both have been Bible study teachers for many years. Rebekah also speaks at women’s retreats and conferences. Her tag line says it all “God loves you and He’s for you”.
