Danny and I have had two recurring ideas between us in the last few years. Mine has been that I needed to leave earth before him. The reason being that I just don’t want to be here without him. His idea was always that we would ride off into the sunset together. I was opposed to that because it sounded so fatalistic. But after all we’ve been through, especially the last few months, I have now come into agreement with him. LOL
If I don’t want to be without my husband on earth, imagine how much Jesus doesn’t want to be without us in heaven. And imagine too how He doesn’t want us to live a life of separate plans from Him on earth.
Oh beloved, the simple life is to give Christ everything. Your hopes, your dreams, your plans, your heart. Oh most of all your heart. He doesn’t want to wait till heaven to have this wonderful life with you. He wants to be with you and reside over you all the days of your life. You don’t have to wait until the worst happens or life gets complicated. Learn to love Him now. Learn to give life’s “things” to Him now. Let Him lead you in the wedding dance now. He is your King, your Husband, your Royal Father all wrapped into One. A life without residential ownership is a life that is living a less than life.
All of your life is summed up in the decree that was given to the rich young ruler – sell all you have and come follow Me Jesus said to Him. It wasn’t that that rich young ruler had to sell all to be saved. But the Lord knows our hearts. He knows where our spot of discomfort is in following Him with our whole hearts. Listen, beloved, you won’t want to be here or there without Him. And He prayed to the Father – Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Your life is not the sum of your own plans for great as some of us have planned, we all fall short on our own. No your life is the exact representation of all that God wants to give you in Christ. You will have wisdom, power and love – working together – for your good and His Glory!
God loves you and He’s for you. Retreat with Him today. Walk in the Garden with Him alone. Let Him speak His will into your heart and mind. He speaks such lovely things over your life that even in the hard times your life will be glorious. Rejoice that you still have time to build a life together with Him as you live in the Light of His supernatural, abundant, unprecedented love story for you.
Romans 8:31-32 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since He did not spare even His own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t He also give us everything else?
Ecclesiastes 3:11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.
Jeremiah 24:7 I will give them hearts that recognize Me as the Lord. They will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me wholeheartedly.
John 10:10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

In a Christian Women’s meeting in 1983, Rebekah was given a prophetic message that she would write books. Several years ago she began writing stories about special holiday memories and travels, sharing God’s love and care through each story.
