Our house is about to undergo a makeover. Within the next couple of weeks it’s not going to look like it does right now. Big changes are going to happen. We’ve prayed and planned and now it’s all happening. And the best thing about it is we don’t have to do the work! It’s all going to be done for us!
Oh beloved, aren’t we blessed? We’ve undergone a makeover in our lives. While once we were in need of more than a facelift, big changes have happened in our lives. You and I didn’t have to make ourselves better – we couldn’t have done it. God sent Someone to do it all for us – Jesus!
God wants to remind you this morning that this life of faith is not just a façade. It’s the real thing. At just the right time the Lord has changed everything. You didn’t even have to pay for the changes. It was all done for you – through the precious atonement of Christ. His changes last for a lifetime. Your life is being perfected by the One who knows you best and loves you most! You were chosen to be redeemed – thoroughly restored and even more than that – made brand new! The enemy may tell you that you’re still dealing with the old you, but you aren’t the sum of who you were before Christ. There is always a change when someone gives their life to the Lord and you, beloved, are changed completely! God calls you special in His sight – He is blessed by His own work. He even has posted a sign on your heart that you are His property. He will guide you, keep you, watch over you and keep you safe always!
God loves you and He’s for you. Remember whose you are! Remember who did the work in you. Remind yourself that the Word has made changes no man can undo. Think of your blessings that all your life has been bought and paid for by the One who puts the stars in orbit! Run to Him this morning and thank Him for His unspeakable gift! And when you boast about the work done in your life, you can give all the credit to Jesus! And walk as a living epistle in the Light of His wonder working power!

About the Author:
In a Christian Women’s meeting in 1983, Rebekah was given a prophetic message that she would write books. Several years ago she began writing stories about special holiday memories and travels, sharing God’s love and care through each story. God has gifted Rebekah with the ability to look at the natural and see the supernatural. Both Rebekah and her husband Danny have a heart to share the Gospel and the riches of life in Christ to everyone they meet. They have served in the local church and in ministry to motorcyclists. Danny is an ordained minister and they both have been Bible study teachers for many years. Rebekah also speaks at women’s retreats and conferences. Her tag line says it all “God loves you and He’s for you”.
