Hello GNF friends and readers! I’d like to share a little about my newest release with you. Victoria is Volume 3 in the Brides of Grace Hill Series, a sweeping generational drama about the Rosemont women. It can easily be read as a stand-alone.
In Book 1, Geneva is forced to leave her home in England and comes from Wales to Kentucky during the Antebellum Era. There, she helps her Aunt Millie with the Grace Hill Mission for Ladies and Orphans. Geneva clashes almost instantly with the dashing hero, Ridge Morgan.
In Book 2, Annabelle, Aunt Millie is up to some matchmaking efforts for Geneva’s cousin from Edinburgh, Annabelle. The nation is on the verge of the Great War. She invites Cousin Annabelle to Kentucky as a sort of mail-order bride for a Scottish American descendant, Balfour MacGregor from Richmond, Virginia, about two years after Geneva settled at Grace Hill. A childhood friend of Ridge Morgan, Balfour’s dream is to give up being a gentleman farmer and travel along a pioneer trail to settle in Oregon and open a mercantile/general store in the Willamette Valley region.
In Book 3, Victoria, twenty years has passed since Geneva came to Kentucky and the Civil War. I’ve included a link to the book trailer and a copy of the cover, below. I wanted Victoria to return to Wales and Scotland to discover her roots in this novel.

The Lord usually impresses on me to give each of my books a very specific Christian theme. In this book, I felt led to loosely adapt the Old Testament story of Joseph as the theme. This meant I had to throw the heroine into a series of agonizing trouble and difficulty. The problem here is, it is no easy task to throw a heroine into the midst of some difficult, jealous, hateful siblings with evil intentions to resemble the original story in the Bible. It’s not easy to create those kinds of characters, but I think readers will find this type of intense conflict and jealousy makes for a fascinating, interesting story.
The setting is the same era as the Rockefellers, Astors, and Vanderbilts. It’s an exciting time of progress and innovation during the Gilded Age. The Morgans now have three grown daughters as they travel to Manhattan to spend time with Annabelle’s family in New York.
Check out the book trailer here and I hope you enjoy the book. It’s on sale for the introductory price of 99c for a limited time. Be sure to get your copy today! –:
