Our little doggie is quite the smart thing. He learns quickly. He knows the difference in ball and toy. So he has a basket full of both. I can tell him to go get a toy and he does. Or if I say go get a ball, he gets a ball. The repetitive daily games of toy and ball play has taught him those commands. Danny says he has me trained because sometimes he makes a little growl bark noise and I go get a toy for him! Who has trained who? LOL

Oh beloved, training is so important for a healthy victorious life.  The more we repeat God’s word, the more we respond to it. Repetitive daily workouts of faith in the word and action will teach your mind to the right things. It’s when we rehearse the wrong things that we get our faith twisted up and weakened.

All the promises of God are yours.  Why? Because God says so.  All the amens of heaven are yours. Again because God says so. When you are in Christ, born again, you have a new life and are equipped with the mind of Christ. Imagine how frustrated our little dog would be if I taught him wrong and then scolded him?  Don’t stay frustrated beloved. Get in the Word and begin to retrieve the truth!

God loves you and He is for you.  Even if all around you are fetching the wrong information, you can keep going after God’s best.  Who knows but someone will respond in like minded desire and receive a blessing as well? Go forth and enjoy the benefits as you run, play and pray!

2 Corinthians 1:20 For as many as the promises of God are, in Him they are yes; therefore through Him also is our Amen to the glory of God through us.

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Hebrews 10:36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.

Hebrews 5:14 But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.

About the Author:

Rebekah Beene

In a Christian Women’s meeting in 1983, Rebekah was given a prophetic message that she would write books. Several years ago she began writing stories about special holiday memories and travels, sharing God’s love and care through each story. God has gifted Rebekah with the ability to look at the natural and see the supernatural. Both Rebekah and her husband Danny have a heart to share the Gospel and the riches of life in Christ to everyone they meet. They have served in the local church and in ministry to motorcyclists. Danny is an ordained minister and they both have been Bible study teachers for many years. Rebekah also speaks at women’s retreats and conferences. Her tag line says it all “God loves you and He’s for you”.
