I was talking with Danny about the weather. Seems like we have winter/spring over and over and summer/fall over and over. Like in and out of those seasons like jumping around. Today’s high will be lower than last week’s lows. Such a weird weather pattern. It’s hard to figure out what to do or what to wear every day or so with all the changing back and forth.
Oh beloved, have you ever felt like you were in a life season like that? In and out and back and forth. Impossible to get comfortable and settle down for your nice, normal life. God is in it that’s for sure. He changes the times and the seasons. So what is He up to?
He speaks to my heart and yours this morning. Just as Jesus had nowhere to settle for a nice tidy life, God is stirring us up. He is pulling the feathers out of our nests. You are in for a wonderful time but your seasons are changing quickly. Too quickly for your comfort, but just so the Lord can keep you from napping in these last days. The signs of the times have overtaken the world. And the signs point to His return. As in the days of Noah, everyone was enjoying a “normal” life. But Noah was told to prepare an ark. Beloved, you are asked to be ready for His coming. Enjoy life, but don’t get too comfortable. Speak the Word with boldness, preach the Gospel with words and actions and get ready! Your high calling is being taught for last days ministry. And you are going to see the SON!
God loves you and He is for you. Regardless of comfort or discomfort, in season and out of season. Rise up, say glory to God, give Him your heart this morning. And live in the Light of His return thanking Him that His glory is round about you all the way!
2 Timothy 4:2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and exhort, with great patience and instruction.
Daniel 2:21 And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding.
Revelation 22:12 Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to reward each one as his work deserves.
Mark 13:33 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect.
About the Author:
In a Christian Women’s meeting in 1983, Rebekah was given a prophetic message that she would write books. Several years ago she began writing stories about special holiday memories and travels, sharing God’s love and care through each story. God has gifted Rebekah with the ability to look at the natural and see the supernatural. Both Rebekah and her husband Danny have a heart to share the Gospel and the riches of life in Christ to everyone they meet. They have served in the local church and in ministry to motorcyclists.
