“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers … I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it.”- Revelation 2:17

Did you know that God has a term of endearment for you?
In Deuteronomy, God calls Israel the term of endearment Jeshurun:
“There is none like God, O Jeshurun, who rides through the heavens to your help, through the skies in his majesty. – Deuteronomy 33:26
The name Jeshurun means “upright one” or “blessed one”. God gives them this name even before it’s their full identity. He is the God who, “calls into being things that were not” (Rom 4:17). He says, “And I will have mercy on No Mercy, and I will say to Not My People, ‘You are my people’; and he shall say, ‘You are my God.'” – Hosea 2:23
Even before we were His, He called us. “Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.
15 And there I will give her her vineyards and make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. And there she shall answer as in the days of her youth, as at the time when she came out of the land of Egypt.” – Hosea 2:14-15
Incline your ear close. Pay attention. Lean in close. As you whisper words of worship and love to God, He is whispering words of love and endearment back to you. Consider some here:
9 “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” – 1 Peter 2:9-10
In this season where everything – everything is harder than ever, know that you are loved. You are deeply loved. Press closer to hear the terms of endearment that God has for you:
“…you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” – 1 Peter 2:5, emphasis mine.

God bless you!
