I dreamed last night that a grandchild was calling out to me from the hall. It was dark so I went to my bedroom door and beckoned the grandchild to come into my room. I told that sweet grandchild to stay in my room and to even come get in bed with me. We cuddled up and that was the end of the dream. I did wake up immediately and prayed specifically for that grandchild.

Oh beloved, God speaks this morning. You and I are that child. In the dark hall of life we call out to Him for help. He always comes to get us. He cuddles us up in His love and we are protected. This is what happens every single time we call upon the Lord. He is our Helper, our Protecter and our Source of safety.

Someone needs to know this morning that when you call out in the darkest times of life you will never hear God say, “Buck up”, “Be quiet”, “Don’t bother me”, or anything like that. Not ever. You never have to worry that God won’t hear you or that He won’t respond to you. Even if you have put yourself in the dark place by your own volition, there is still your Heavenly Father. He knows where you are and He is wooing you to call out to Him. The enemy says you’ve gone too far. The enemy says nobody’s there to answer. The enemy makes fun of you, puts you down, and dismisses your voice. But the Lord is with you. Always, forever and then some. You are His child, once you are born again, and you are taken care of, blessed, thriving and covered by the Blood of Christ forever.

God loves you and He’s for you. This is truth. Nightmares may press you to fear, but faith will press you to pray. Run to the Father this morning and thank Him for the help in the dark hallways of life. Worship Him for always being your King of Kings. And live in the Light of His wonderful plans and supernatural provision of Love for you!

Psalm 139:3-5 You search out my path and my lying down; You are aware of all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, You know all about it, O LORD. You hem me in behind and before; You have laid Your hand upon me.

Psalm 66:19 But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.

Psalm 31:22 In panic I cried out, “I am cut off from the LORD!” But you heard my cry for mercy and answered my call for help.

Psalm 6:8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the LORD has heard my weeping.

Psalm 116:2 Because He bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!
